AquaJet’s patented Jet Drive Propulsion System uses only a single, powerful built-in pump motor to provide hydro-scrubbing, vacuum, filtration, drive and circulation. All this is achieved by simply moving water from AquaJet’s bottom out its top. This simplified engineering design eliminates costly and complex drive motors and gear systems, and all of the replacement parts like belts, tracks, pulleys, wheel tubes and brushes found on other robotic cleaners that they require just to move. AquaJet’s design is Simply Reliable™ giving you virtually maintenance free long-life performance, as it cleans any pool configuration or surface texture in as little as 1 hour, while providing the greatest energy savings of any cleaner – paying for its self in only a few months.
Specifically, AquaJet’s internal pump vacuums in water at a phenomenal rate of 80 gallons per minute (GPM) up through its two large intake valves, located underneath the cleaner, and traps all of the dirt inside its body in its reusable filter. AquaJet’s filter traps minute sized dirt that is as much as 1/10th the size that many main pool filters are able of trapping. The filtered water is immediately ejected back into the pool and pushes AquaJet forwards to roll on its wheels. A basic timer is provided on its power supply to allow true forward / reverse customization to clean any residential pool up to as large as 50 feet long. AquaJet’s forward axle has a patented directional guidance system, which is really a simple yet highly effective mechanical system that ensures provides systematic turning for total cleaning coverage without the costly and complicated computer chips and incline sensors found on traditional robots.
Situated on the same shaft of its pump propeller is an impeller. As the pump motor spins the propeller forcing water upwards for vacuuming and drive the impeller forces water downwards under high pressure. This filtered water forcefully passes through AquaJet’s clear tubes from the top of the pump motor to AquaJet’s bottom sides where its HydroScrubber nozzles are. There dual powerful streams of filtered water are ejected, which like a garden hose with a thumb partially covering its opening creates high pressure power washing to remove difficult debris off the pool's surface and fine dirt out of hard to reach areas like porous pool surfaces and corners where other cleaners or even brushes can’t get to.
AquaJet is a highly effective and reliable cleaner, but by design is also an efficient powerful mobile filtration and circulation system. Costing less than 5¢ per hour to operate, AquaJet is as much as 30 times more energy efficient to run than your pool’s main filtration system. Therefore, by operating your AquaJet as much as 7 hours per day and reducing your pool’s filtration system to about 3 hours per day you can enjoy the microfiltration and powerful circulation of your AquaJet and experience as much as $2,000 or more in energy savings every year!
